Bright Glass LLC — Terms & Conditions
(Version: 2026-01-15)

These Terms & Conditions apply to Bright Glass LLC (“Bright Glass,” “we,” “us”) for orders and services in Connecticut, New York (including NYC), and New Jersey.

1) Contract Documents; Order of Control

Your order/project may include one or more of the following (“Contract Documents”): invoice/proposal, drawings/specifications, written approvals (email/text), change orders, installation authorization/agreement, and these Terms & Conditions.

Order of Control: If there is any conflict, the controlling order is:
(1) written change orders/approved scope, (2) the applicable project agreement/authorization (GC or homeowner), (3) invoice/proposal, then (4) these website Terms & Conditions.

2) Acceptance (No Signature Required)

Payment of any deposit or scheduled amount constitutes the Client/Purchaser’s express acceptance of the Contract Documents. If a signed contract is required by law or internal policy, the Client/Purchaser must request it before making payment.

3) Cleared Funds

“Cleared funds” means funds fully credited and not subject to chargeback, recall, reversal, stop-payment, hold, or return by any financial institution.

4) Payment; Late Charges; Collection & Enforcement

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or stated on the invoice/proposal:

  • A deposit is required to reserve scheduling and/or begin design/fabrication and procurement.

  • Remaining balances are due per the invoice/proposal.

Late Payments: Past-due amounts accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% per annum) or the maximum lawful rate, whichever is less.

Collection / Enforcement Costs: In the event of default or nonpayment, the Client/Purchaser agrees to pay all reasonable costs of collection and enforcement, including attorneys’ fees, court costs, filing fees, service fees, recording fees, and other enforcement expenses, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

5) Stop Work / Withholding / Rescheduling

Nonpayment is a material breach. Bright Glass may suspend work and/or withhold materials, delivery, warranties, and closeout until all amounts are paid in cleared funds. The Client/Purchaser is responsible for reasonable storage, remobilization, and rescheduling costs caused by nonpayment or delays outside Bright Glass’s control.

6) Lien Rights; Conditional Waivers (Where Applicable)

Bright Glass retains any mechanic’s lien rights available under applicable law (if any). Any lien waiver/release is conditional upon receipt of the applicable payment in cleared funds and effective only as permitted by law.

A) Ship-Out Orders (No Installation by Bright Glass)
A1) Measurements; Final Fit

For ship-out orders, the purchaser is responsible for providing correct measurements and selecting the correct product. If Bright Glass provides an optional final measurement service after purchase, any mismatch or scope change may result in additional charges.

A2) Delivery Area; Delivery Windows

We deliver/ship to CT, NY (including NYC), and NJ. We do not deliver to a P.O. Box.

All deliveries are made Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 7:00pm. Bright Glass will contact the purchaser prior to delivery to confirm the approximate delivery time. The purchaser will be given an approximate delivery window when possible.

A3) Delivery Inspection; Damage Claims

Upon receipt of package(s), the purchaser must inspect packaging for visible damage. If there is significant visible damage, note it on the carrier receipt (e.g., “refused due to visible damage”) and notify Bright Glass promptly with photos.

After opening packages, the purchaser must promptly inspect all glass for scratches, chips, and blemishes, and hardware for damage/finish issues, and notify Bright Glass with photos promptly. Do not begin installation before inspection, because starting installation may limit available remedies.

Once the purchaser accepts shipment and removes glass from packaging, the purchaser is responsible for damage or breakage. Bright Glass recommends wearing safety glasses and gloves while opening packages.

Refunds (Custom-Made Products)
Custom-Made / Made-to-Order Products

Most glass products and shower door components provided by Bright Glass LLC are custom made for your specific opening(s), dimensions, and specifications. Because these items are made specifically for you, sales are final and returns and refunds are not available, except as required by applicable law.

Ship-Out Orders (No Installation by Bright Glass)

  • The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate measurements and selecting the correct product.

  • If the purchaser wants to request a cancellation, the purchaser must call and email info@brightglasssolutions.com within 24 hours of purchase.

  • After production begins, materials are ordered, fabrication starts, or glass is cut, cancellations, returns, and refunds are not available, except as required by applicable law.

  • Inspect immediately upon delivery (before starting installation). If installation begins, Bright Glass will not authorize credits, refunds, or remakes for scratches, chips, blemishes, or finish issues that could have been identified prior to installation.

Installation Projects (Bright Glass Installs)

  • Deposits are applied to reserved scheduling, design, measurement, procurement, and fabrication planning.

  • After final measurements are taken by Bright Glass and the deposit is received (or after written approval of sizes/design is provided), and/or once materials are ordered or fabrication begins, cancellations and refunds are not available, except as required by applicable law.

  • Once glass is cut/fabrication is underway, the purchaser remains obligated to accept the custom product and pay amounts due under the Contract Documents.

Refund Processing (If a Refund Is Required or Approved)

If a refund is required by law or approved by Bright Glass, it may exclude non-refundable third-party costs, special-order materials, delivery fees, restocking fees (where applicable), and/or labor already performed, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible (or by check if required/appropriate).

No-Show / Late Cancellation Fees (per technician reserved)

Effective October 12, 2018, if an established customer cancels/reschedules without at least 24 hours’ notice or fails to provide access (“No-Show”), the Client agrees to the following charges per glass expert/technician scheduled, which represent reserved labor time, dispatch, and administrative costs and are not a penalty:

  • First occurrence: $180 per technician scheduled

  • Second occurrence: $250 per technician scheduled

  • Third occurrence: Bright Glass may require prepayment in advance for future appointments and/or may suspend further scheduling until outstanding amounts are paid.

Job Site Conditions = No-Show

The Client must provide suitable conditions for measurement and/or installation, including adequate security, lighting, ventilation, and safe working conditions. If conditions are not suitable and prevent the service from being performed, the appointment may be treated as a No-Show and charged $180 per technician scheduled.

Permits / Building Approvals / Access Requirements

The Client is responsible for obtaining required building/condominium approvals, permits, elevator reservations, and access permissions needed to perform the appointment. Bright Glass will provide certificates of insurance upon request. If required approvals/access are not available and the appointment cannot proceed, the appointment may be treated as a No-Show and charged $180 per technician scheduled.

Rescheduling After a No-Show

Bright Glass may require payment of (a) any outstanding No-Show fees and (b) any required project deposit or outstanding balance in cleared funds, before rescheduling.

Delays

Bright Glass’s goal is to custom make your glass product within 7–10 business days from final measurements. Bright Glass is not liable for delays due to third-party carriers, lost shipments, acts of God, weather, machinery downtime, internet/service interruptions, out-of-stock glass or hardware, or other events beyond our reasonable control. Bright Glass will notify the purchaser of material delays and provide an estimated delivery time when possible.

Glass (Industry Standards; Tolerances)

Glass is a manufactured product and may contain minor blemishes or variations. Remakes for normal blemishes are evaluated using industry standard tolerance levels.

Accepted cutting tolerances may vary. Sizes can vary plus (+) or minus (-) up to 1/8". If within tolerances, Bright Glass is not responsible for remakes.

Warping may occur during tempering within accepted industry guidelines. Vinyl seals are wear-and-tear items and may discolor/deteriorate over time.

All glass has a natural greenish tint due to iron content; low-iron glass has less tint. Tint may vary by thickness and size.

Installations and Repairs
(Jobsite Conditions; Drilling; Hidden Conditions)

Bright Glass aims for a “tight as possible” installation. Glass cannot conform to bellies, bows, and uneven tile or poor workmanship by others. Bright Glass is not responsible for structural integrity of walls or mounting surfaces.

Installations may require drilling in tile/stone/metal/fiberglass; some materials may crack during drilling. Bright Glass is not responsible to repair/replace tiles or surfaces that break due to normal drilling risks.

Bright Glass assumes no liability for unforeseen conditions such as drilling into hidden pipes/wiring. The contractor or homeowner must notify Bright Glass prior to drilling if a pipe/wiring is in the area; Bright Glass will redesign/work around known conflicts when notified in advance.

Special access costs (stairs/no elevator/lift needs) may be at the purchaser’s expense when required for safe handling.

Drawings are for reference and may not be to scale.

Shower Doors (Water Behavior; Thresholds; Service Visits)

Incorrect pitched sills/curbs can cause water leakage. A threshold may be installed when conditions require. If the purchaser refuses a required threshold at initial installation, a return visit may carry a service fee (minimum $125.00) to install later.

Frameless showers deflect water; some leakage may occur depending on showerhead position, water pressure, sprays, and usage. Towel bars/hooks are optional and must be included in the invoice/proposal.

Removals

If Bright Glass removes an existing glass product, Bright Glass is not liable for damage to walls, tiles, furniture, or other items that can occur during removal. Bright Glass will attempt to cover holes that were hidden behind the old product; due to conditions/configurations, Bright Glass may not be able to cover/fill holes from prior installations. Discoloration behind old products may be visible and is not the responsibility of Bright Glass to remove.

Warranties and Maintenance

All warranty claims are subject to inspection by Bright Glass.

Hardware failure within one year may be replaced at no charge; after one year, service charges may apply depending on scope and location. Finishes may vary by materials used; this is not a defect. Maintenance requirements apply (avoid abrasive cleaners, etc.).

Leak warranty around fixed panels (if offered) is limited as stated; after the applicable period, service fees may apply (minimum $125.00). Bright Glass is not responsible for mold on silicone/caulk or tile.

Stainless Steel Disclaimer

Stainless steel is a durable chromium and nickel-based alloy with superior corrosion resistance. However, stainless steel is not stain or rust-proof. Environmental conditions, such as proximity to large bodies of water, can contribute to corrosion. Stainless steel can also discolor, rust, or corrode in regular contact with chloride salts, sulfides, or rusting metals such as iron. Lastly, metal cutting equipment, including chop saws, can leave small metal deposits on stainless steel that may lead to rusting if not properly removed.

Bright Glass does not guarantee that brushed or polished stainless steel hardware will remain free of rust, stains, or corrosion for the product's lifetime. As a preventative measure, we recommend proper periodic care of stainless steel hardware to help maintain its factory finish for years to come.

Returned Checks / Failed Payments

If a check is returned (NSF) or stopped, the purchaser will promptly pay returned check fees and any outstanding balance using cleared funds (e.g., wire/cashier’s check) or other approved method.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will be charged as required by law based on the delivery location and the nature of the goods/services.

Limitation of Liability (to the extent permitted by law)

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bright Glass’s liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific goods/services at issue. Bright Glass is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law / Venue

Governing law and venue are based on the project/delivery location (CT / NY including NYC / NJ).
